Required field marked visually only
WCAG 3.3.2 (A) · EN 301 549 9.3.3.2
The field label says it is required (with an asterisk or the word), but the field itself declares neither required nor aria-required.
Why it matters
Anyone who cannot see the asterisk does not know the field is mandatory until the form rejects it. And if the error is not announced either, they are stuck with no idea why.
How to fix it
Add the required attribute to the field. Keep the visual marker too: both, not one or the other.
