Missing skip-to-content link

WCAG 2.4.1 (A) · EN 301 549 9.2.4.1

The page has extensive navigation but no link to bypass it.

Why it matters

Without one, keyboard users have to tab through the same twenty menu links on every page they visit.

Make the first element in the <body> a link to the id of the main content. It can stay hidden until it receives focus.

As it is

As it should be

  <a class="skip-link" href="#content">Skip to main content</a>
